After being rated the number one hotel to stay at in Bali in one of Australia’s most popular magazines, we were extremely excited to be staying at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua. Indulging in a lavish 5-star beachfront resort with beautifully landscaped gardens and pools, whilst experiencing the unique Balinese culture, this luxury and exotic hotel did not disappoint.
Luxury, class, style there was nothing this hotel didn't have. Arriving at Sofitel with our jaws dropped to the ground we could not believe we were going to stay in such an amazing resort for the next two days. Beaming with smiles from all staff, we were taken to check in within Club Millesime, where we were offered welcoming drinks and a cold towel to cool off. Having a Club Millesime package was something we would highly recommend, as it was absolutely amazing. It consisted of us being able to have access to an afternoon tea every day from 3pm, consisting of spring rolls, quesadillas, sandwiches, scones and different desserts, such as fruit and custard tarts. From 5.30pm was cocktail hour, where you are served cocktails, as well as helping yourself to a variety of different cakes, biscuits, fruits and nuts. This package also included access to the resorts Infinity pool, which was immaculate and surrounded by luscious greenery.
We had the most lovely and relaxing stay in a gorgeous ‘Luxury Room’ which could not be faulted, with a massive king sized bed, large bathroom and a swimming pool just outside our room which connected around to the main pool were you could swim and go for evening cocktails.
The hotel has the most relaxing pool complex that we have ever experienced and it is evident how much effort is put into having their garden, pool and other facilities maintained to such a high standard. We unwinded with a soothing treatment at So Spa, having a one hour massage that was extremely relaxing and above our expectations. We also experienced the So Fit fitness centre, that had every piece of gym equipment needed to partake in a physical workout.
As for food, we experienced the buffet breakfast, which would have to be the best buffet we have ever had. With a juice bar and separate rooms for bread, eggs, meat, Indian, noodles and catering for different cuisines, such as Indian, we always left feeling full and extremely satisfied with food and the service from all the staff.
We also got to experience lunch at Nikki Beach, boasting stunning panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, whilst offering a large menu choice of international favourites such as wood oven pizzas and creative salads, which was extremely delicious and enjoyable whilst lounging on a luxurious all-white day-bed by the pool. It is impossible to fault such an incredible hotel when you have staff that are absolutely amazing in every area. From the waiters at breakfast, to the cleaning and room service staff, every employee that we met always greeted us with a warm smile and thoughtful gesture. They always went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect and that every guest is more than satisfied with their stay.
Ideal for business, leisure, or family fun, Sofitel Bali Nusa Beach Resort welcomes patrons to discover its luxury beachfront offerings for their memorable Bali holiday. Only 30 minutes from the airport and main attractions within easy driving range, this 5 star resort was absolutely incredible and we will definitely be back to stay again.
